When God loves us...

            What can separate us from God's love? Absolutely nothing! God lives to love us it seems. Everything on this earth He created for us to enjoy and to sustain us. I think everything He does is to show how much He loves us. Every new day, He gives us the breath we need to see it and enjoy it. He provides the sustenance we need to keep us alive. He provides the sun and sends the rain, cold and heat . . .  everything needed to help us survive and even enjoy life.
            Even when negative comes, it's not negative but another opportunity for God to show his love and care. It certainly doesn't mean that He hates us but that even in those challenging times He wants us to run to Him and to trust Him and watch how He will see us through.
            Yes, God uses both good and bad, positive and negative to reveal His love toward us. "Eye has not seen, not ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9) Like a parent all excited to bless his child with gifts, just so God delights in giving us the desires of our heart. And yet, all of this does not come just like that. We have to do our part. We have to simply give ourselves, our heart to Him and trust Him with what we give to Him. Trust that He will take care of us in any and every situation. At the end of the day, it's not a bad transaction. We give ourselves to Him and He takes care of us and loves us above and beyond what we can ask, think or imagine. A relationship with Him is truly a solid investment.
