See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way
in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.   Isaiah 43:19

In God's hands a little is powerful...

There is nothing or no one greater, higher, stronger than God. We cannot outdo Him or outsmart Him. We will never prevail against Him! So why bother to try?!!! God can and will use whoever or whatever He will to get the job done. It always pays to be on God's side and to have Him on your side. You will never lose.
In Judges chapter 4, the children of Israel once again sinned against God and found themselves in bondage to a Canaanite king, Jabin. They cried out to God in the midst of their oppression and God answered through Deborah, a judge of Israel. She summoned Barak and commanded him to take ten thousand men from Naphtali and Zebulun and to go fight against king Jabin's army. Sisera, the captain of this Canaanite army was proud of his army because they were equipped with nine hundred iron chariots. They were far more advanced certainly than the Israelite army who were not so equipped. And yet the Israelites defeated them.
So, imagine, Sisera used the best that he had and yet even with this advantage he could not win against God! In fact God used a very tiny thing in comparison to destroy him . . . a tent peg! When he realized that his army was being defeated, he fled on foot and entered the tent of a woman, seeking refuge. This woman was Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, whose clan was supposed to be friendly with king Jabin. However, this same woman, while he slept, drove a tent peg through his temple and killed him. How ironic is that? God used a woman, not a man or even a soldier to destroy him. He didn't use sophisticated weaponry either, but a tent peg! Anything in God's hands, no matter how small or insignificant, is a mighty weapon. Once God is behind it, it will get the job done.
With these thoughts in mind, how can we doubt our God's ability to succeed? How can we doubt His ability to see us through, to get us successfully through any situation. God did miracles then and He's performing miracles now. God won battles then and He is winning battles now!
