Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9
Joshua 1:9
A few days ago, I discovered a song on YouTube entitled: In Jesus name (God of Possible) performed by Katy Nichole. I had never seen or heard of it before but I honestly felt drawn to it and decided to listen. I was not disappointed. The song is simple and melodious but the lyrics are so on target and potent. The song is basically a prayer but I believe what gives it its potency is the fact that the prayer and declarations are all made in Jesus name ... and that’s where the real power comes from. According to Philippians 2:8-11, because Jesus chose to humble himself and submit to His mission here on earth, God exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” The name of Jesus is not to be taken lightly or in vain. It is a powerful name through which signs, wonders and miracles can be manifested. Think about it. When Jesus walked the earth as a mere man, His very presence was powerful. He performed miracles that had never been witnessed before. He healed the sick, raised the dead, restored sight to the blind, cast out demons, forgave sins. And, as if that wasn’t enough, He gave power to His disciples to perform the same miracles that He did. His very presence was powerful and after He left this earth, His name continues to be powerful. I recall times in my life, when faced with demonic attacks, the only thing I could muster was the name of Jesus. I didn’t even have the opportunity to say, “the blood of Jesus;” I certainly did not have the chance to say a prayer because all that could come from my lips or be spoken in my mind was one word – JESUS. And that was sufficient. The demonic presence left. Even when faced with challenges with my health, I would sometimes say, “Jesus is Lord” or again simply, “Jesus,” and God would come through for me. I have learned how to war in prayer and I have certainly learned how to war using one name: JESUS. I will insert here the story of the lame man in the New Testament who sat daily begging at the temple called Beautiful (Acts 3:1-8). When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple he decided to ask them for money. Peter in turn commanded him to look at them. He obeyed expecting to receive something from them. Peter then proceeded to say with confidence: “Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” It was a confident command because Peter was expecting something good to happen because he had leaned on the name of Jesus. He took the man by his right hand and lifted him up and he walked and followed them into the temple leaping and praising God. Peter never spoke in his own name or in the name of John or in the name of any of the other disciples. He spoke in the name of JESUS! He recognized the power in that name and he certainly used it! This reminds me of Katy Nichole’s song. She too is praying for healing, deliverance, restoration in JESUS name: I pray for your healing, that circumstances would change I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus name I pray that a breakthrough would happen today I pray miracles over your life in Jesus name In Jesus name I don’t know what you are going through today but the name of JESUS is all the power you will need. Some breakthroughs will happen instantly, others will take time but I have personally used the name of Jesus in some dire circumstances and witnessed Him come through for me time and again. Some of you know exactly what I mean. You too have experienced the power of His name when the only prayer that could come from your lips was, “JESUS” . . . and He came through for you. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour I really encourage you to do so now. With Him in your life and on your side, no matter what comes your way, you need speak only one word – JESUS – and He will come through for you!!!

Thank you for discussing this important topic as more than ever people are struggling with mental health issues, money problems, insecurity, anxiety, various fears, troubled relationship and some sadly are becoming prescription drug addicts as they try to numb and escape the emotional pain within. Meanwhile the unhealthy side effects of drug use are causing many premature deaths. We need the supernatural power of God Almighty more than ever to set the captives free, heal the hurting within and bring total transformation in people's lives. The supernatural power of God with prophetic insight to heal and empower humanity is readily available as I've experienced around the world. Let's join hearts in prayer to believe God to touch, save, change and transform our generation and lift us up to where we belong in Him. ~ Paul F. Davis from https://PropheticPowerShift.com/
